Second Annual Beef and Beer an Overwhelming Success
The 2nd Annual Hunter's Heroes Foundation Beef and Beer was held on Saturday, November 11 at the Venue at Lenola in Moorestown. More than 200 people were in attendance for an event that celebrates the life and memories of Lt. Christopher Hunter. November is Lt. Hunter's birth month (November 26) as well as the anniversary of his passing (November 15).
This year's Beef and Beer, just the second since Lt. Hunter's passing, was an overwhelming success. So many family, friends, and colleagues of Lt. Hunter's attended the event in an effort to help honor the memory of someone they viewed as a loved one, leader, and all around incredible person.
An excellent spread of food was provided by A Cut Above Deli to go along with a tasty dessert table. There was dancing for all to enjoy throughout the entire night thanks to DJ Brian Adams. It was such a pleasure to see an entire community come together for such a great cause.
We cannot thank our sponsors enough for all they donated to our 2nd Annual Beef and Beer. From food and drinks to decorations and prizes; we wouldn't have been able to host such a successful event without the generous donations of all our sponsors, both corporate and individual. You can take a look at our list of sponsors here.
For the second straight year the money raised at the Beef and Beer will go towards two important causes. The first is the adoption of a local family this holiday season that is in need. The second is the awarding of a scholarship to a graduating student from Lt. Hunter's alma mater, Cinnaminson High School. The foundation awarded its first-ever scholarship this past spring and will do so again in the spring of 2018.
